Column Design

Rhobust columns have been optimised for:

• simplicity
• cleanability
• low pressure operability

Column design combines a unique dual-pump system that facilitates high-throughput, sensitive flow control and prevents build-up of backpressure.

The column also includes a state-of-the-art distribution system that helps to maintain steady flow and prevents clogging.

In contrast to packed bed columns there are no problems associated with frequent changes of temperature from +4 degrees Celsius to +60 degrees. Any air released in the system during such changes simply leaves the column without disturbing the process.
