Mike Bennett, Interim CEO

Mike Bennett posesses senior management experience from a number of life science companies.

He has a global career at senior level in a range of life science companies, from large corporations to start-up companies based on venture funding and having business activities ranging across Pharmaceuticals, Diagnostics, Laboratory Services, Veterinary Medicine and Agriculture.

Michael is a Veterinary Scientist by training and has spent the last 15 years as an Interim Director in various life science companies.

Allan Lihme, Technical Director and Founder

Allan Lihme is an experienced commercial developer in the protein chemistry field.

While employed at the Protein Laboratory, University of Copenhagen he founded Kem-En-Tec A/S in 1982 with the aim of commercialising products within the field of protein analysis and protein isolation. In 1988 he became the Director of R&D and was the principal scientist in developing the technology for the spin-out of Upfront Chromatography A/S as well as Immunodex K/S and Amdex A/S in co-operation with Dako A/S.

Allan Lihme became the Managing Director as well as Director of R&D for Upfront Chromatography A/S in 1998. He has been non-executive board member in Immunodex K/S and Agroferm A/S and is presently a board member in Kem-En-Tec D&L A/S, Kem-En-Tec Diagnostics A/S, Kem-En-Tec Holding A/S and Upfront Chromatography A/S. Allan Lihme has an M.Sc. in biochemistry from the University of Copenhagen. He has 15 patent families and more than 10 commercially important scientific papers to his name.

Karsten Lindved, CFO

Karsten Lindved is an experienced CFO with a background as CFO in several different industries and businesses.

He joined Upfront Chromatography A/S in May 2007 following more than 10 years experience in international telecommunications and technology industries, previously holding a CFO position in the international mobile clearing and settlement provider, MACH, a Luxembourg based, private equity owned company. Karsten Lindved is a Danish State Authorized Public Accountant, and has an MBA from Aarhus School of Business.

Søren Pedersen, VP Sales and Marketing

Søren Pedersen possesses significant global sales and marketing experience.

Previously, at Superfos Pharma Pack, he was Sales Manager responsible for the Americas, and at Novozymes he held positions as Global Marketing Manager Food and Nutrition and Senior Strategic Account Manager.

Søren has an M.Sc. International Technology Management, Aalborg University, a Graduate Diploma in Business Administration (Marketing Management) from Copenhagen Business Scholl, and an Executive MBA from AVT.
