The applications of Upfront's Rhobust™ technology for bioprocessing include:

• Plasma Proteins
  
  Rhobust is proven as a key technology for the isolation of products from blood plasma, such as Intravenous Immunoglobulin (IVIG), Factor VIII, Prothrombin Complex, Alpha-1-Antitrypsin and Albumin. The technology has been designed to fit into an existing Cohn fractionation process or can form a stand alone, complete process that may be applied directly to crude plasma.
  
  
• Biopharmaceuticals
  
  Rhobust technology has been successfully applied to the commercial-scale isolation of recombinant products from microbial fermentation broths, mammalian cell culture broths and milk from transgenic animals.
